Christmassy things

I spent yesterday making these Christmassy pot holders for my friend Alex whose shop needs a Christmas display in Sept/Oct. Hope these are ok, Alex!

I also made a couple of little quick stitcheries while watching TV. Not sure if I am going to turn these into little hanging decorations, or gift bags.

Well, I just don't know how I am going to go back to work next week. Over the last week my body clock has finally adjusted to this life of leisure - so I've been having trouble sleeping at night, and then sleeping in really late in the morning. In fact, it is nearly 9.30am here and I am still in my pjs and having my first cup of coffee. Even the pups have adjusted - they normally turf me out of bed early to get their breakfast, but I've been having to kick them out of bed these days! I just can't imagine adjusting back to my 6am wake-up. I really need another month off .....

Hi Vanessa,

The pot holders are great! I was wondering what you had been working on. I have been doing beaded silk dupion strawberries, which make lovely tree decorations. Have also just cut out heaps of applique pieces for fusing onto teatowels and to make some hanging santas. Hugs Alex
